A card model created to convey a 2-dimensional repeating pattern inspired by design group Droog
On of the most memorable and my favourite piece of architecture is Berlin's Hauptbahnhof (Central Station). Located a few miles north-west of the city, this monolithic glass and steel building is the port for many as they arrive and leave the city. Its glass walls frame views over the river to the government district - where you can see the also impressive Reichstag building (Government house). This exemplary piece of modern German architecture has been thoughtfully designed to cater for the growing needs of a metropolitan city in the heart of Europe. I will continue to return to this building to appreciate the detail the designers spent weeks on getting perfect.
This picture I took with my iPhone on a Niki flight from Vienna to Rome in 2013. The shapes forming are icicles on the window of the plane as we flew over the Italian alps.
